Lookit What I Found

“Lookit What I Found” by Jeff Goodby

One of the things we really want to do here is
celebrate the creations of our people outside advertising
and your daily jobs. We have art shows, music
performances, and circulate things freely. Send me
something you want posted and I’ll try to put it up here.
Here’s a song I wrote for a friend’s wedding and performed
live. It went pretty well.

Thanks to Claude Shade for this amazing shot

  1. This just makes me smile big, in spite of the rain today.
    So cozy and sweet!

  2. Thank you for sharing. As I sat alone at the Palms, I turned up the sound and just enjoyed. Very sweet.

  3. Dig it. I didn’t know you were a musical person. Very cool.

  4. A little bit Moldy Peaches, a little bit Johnny Cash. Warts and all. Really cool.

  5. This is quite legendary. Sounds like a mix between Niel Young and Warren Zevon, which says a lot!!

  6. Very nice! Sounds a bit like Neil Young’s vulnerable voice in there.

  7. I had the fortune of attending one of Jeffs best friends wedding in Big Sur where he performed this. In the context of this event and him just sitting there and plucking and singing….it was really very nice and really hit the spot and everyone including myself was pretty moved.
I have a photo of it and will share it when i figure out how.

  8. Wow, I loved it!

  9. “Make a happy sound!”
